Mahindra is rumored to be developing Premium electric SUVs. probably XUV900

The specifics of the novel ideas are not yet going to be discussed in public. The teaser images give the impression that Mahindra will unveil at least one compact SUV, one mid-sized SUV, and one SUV Coupe. The Born Electric platform will be used for these models, and they will not be upgraded to ICE versions in the foreseeable future. The platform was designed from the ground up for electric vehicles, and the brand-new models that will ride on it will be sport utility vehicles.

The teaser images have revealed that the new concepts have C-shaped LED signatures at both the front and the back, each of which was designed uniquely. The teaser image of the interior displays a dual-screen configuration for the vehicle’s instrument panel and infotainment system. Within the center console there is a rotary dial that can be used.

It has been speculated that the design of the rumored XUV900 Coupe SUV, which is anticipated to be introduced between 2025 and 2026, will be previewed by the SUV Coupe concept. The SUV of the midsize class will most likely have a length of about 4.5 meters and will be positioned alongside the XUV700. It is very likely that the brand’s all-new compact electric SUV will be previewed by the small SUV concept.

It is also anticipated that Mahindra will demonstrate these concepts at the Auto Expo 2023, which will take place in January. Additionally, discussions are taking place between the company and Volkswagen Group about the possibility of the company’s future Born Electric SUVs being developed on VW’s MEB platform.

In addition to EV concepts, Mahindra is planning to introduce the brand-new Scorpio-N to the market in India on June 27, 2022. Within the next few months, the company will also launch the 9-seater Bolero Neo Plus. The launch of the updated XUV300 and the XUV400 EV is planned for the first quarter of 2023, while the launch of the eKUV100 is anticipated to take place during the holiday season.
