The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza is also expected to come with compressed natural gas (CNG) engine as standard.
According to reports in the media, production of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2022 has begun at the company’s Manesar factory. According to current plans, the crossover will go on sale in May 2022.
‘Brezza’ will be the name of the upcoming model, with the ‘Vitara’ moniker being dropped. It will be powered by a 1.5-liter K15C petrol engine with 103 horsepower and 137 Newton-meters of torque, which has been updated. A 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, similar to the Ertiga / XL6 facelift, could be used in conjunction with the engine. According to reports, a CNG version of the Brezza could be added to the lineup in the near future.
The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza may also come with factory-installed CNG.
Some of the changes made to the exterior design of the Brezza have already been revealed in leaked images of the vehicle. The car will have a new grille, as well as slim twin-pod headlamps with L-shaped LED daytime running lights on the front and rear bumpers. The rectangular tail light clusters will be replaced with slim L-shaped units at the rear of the vehicle.
It’s expected that the interior of the Brezza will include an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system as well as a traditional twin-dial instrument cluster and a sunroof.
