Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, a major car company, said on Thursday that it has teamed up with Quiklyz by Mahindra Finance for its Subscribe vehicle subscription program.
Under the terms of the partnership, Quiklyz will offer a white plate subscription for a number of Maruti Suzuki vehicles. This means that the vehicle will be registered in the user’s name and pledged to the subscription partner.
“Maruti Suzuki India said in a statement that it has also added the Kolkata market to its subscription service. MSIL started its subscription program in July 2020. The PTI report said a customer can choose from a range of the company’s vehicles and use one without owning it for a fixed monthly fee that includes everything.
According to the report, MSIL’s Subscribe service is currently available in 20 cities. These cities include Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Indore, Mangalore, Mysore, and Kolkata. The company has four subscription partners: Quiklyz, Orix, Myles, and ALD.
“We are always improving our subscribe program services based on what we learn and what our customers tell us.” This made us want to expand Maruti Suzuki Subscribe to new markets like Kolkata and work with Quiklyz by Mahindra Finance“.
Shashank Srivastava, the Senior Executive Director of Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL), told PTI that
Turra Mohammed, Senior Vice President and Business Head of Quiklyz, said that the company is committed to playing a major role in this market. He said that car subscription is growing as customers’ ownership preferences change across all segments. “That’s why we’re excited to work with Maruti Suzuki to offer an unbeatable subscription service for all of Maruti Suzuki’s cars,” Mohammed said.
Even though car subscription is a new idea for people in India, Srivastava said, “In less than two years since we launched Maruti Suzuki Subscribe, we have had a phenomenal response from customers, with nearly 1 lakh enquiries.”
