When you sign in to YouTube with your Google account, YouTube will keep a record of everything you do on the site, including what you watch, what you search for, and even what you preview. This includes both full videos and previews of clips. This enables the website to recommend new videos to you based on the categories of videos that you already enjoy watching. But considering that Google owns YouTube, you have to wonder who else outside Google could potentially view your information. If you want to start fresh and erase everything from your search history, YouTube is a wonderful place to go.
If you often share your YouTube account with others, or if your family members also use your YouTube account to watch videos, it’s best to delete the search histories. Deleting search history on YouTube will ensure that no one else sees what type of videos you search for.
Take into account that this history will only be removed from your device or browser once you clear the history. Your data will still be stored on the servers operated by YouTube (or Google, if you want)
Step: 1 Open your favorite web browser and sign in to your Google account.
Step: 2 In your web browser, go to the page called “My Google Activity.” Click the YouTube History link on the main screen. (link is provided here https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity)

Step: 3 Scroll down on the YouTube history page and click “Manage history.”

Step: 4 Then, click the Delete drop-down menu and choose the Time frame. Choose “Delete all time” if you want to get rid of all of your YouTube search histories.

Step: 5 When asked to confirm, click the Delete button.
