How to Create Your Own Instagram Avatar?
- Open your Instagram profile from the bottom navigation bar and tap the menu bar in the top-right corner. Select “Settings” from the pop-up menu to visit Instagram’s settings page.

3. To personalize your avatar, you now have an editor UI similar to Bitmoji. You can change the skin tone, hair, face, eye, eyebrow, eyewear, nose, mouth, facial hair, body, clothes, hat, ear piercings, and even add hearing equipment to the avatar here. Instagram also provides a selection of themes to begin with, from which you can quickly alter your avatar.
4. After you’ve finished creating your avatar, click “Done” at the top right and select “Save Modifications” to save your changes.
Share Your Instagram Avatar on Stories
- To share your Instagram avatar on stories, launch the story creation UI and tap the sticker icon in the top-right corner. Select “Avatar” from the list of stickers to access your avatar.
- You will now view the stickers that were generated depending on your avatar. Place the sticker on your image and then tap the “Your tale” button to upload the image to your Instagram Story.
Send Instagram Avatar Emojis in Direct Messages
- You can also utilize your Instagram avatar in DMs. To view emojis based on your avatar, open the chat window, hit the sticker icon in the textbox in the upper right corner, then select “Avatar.”
- Select the sticker you want to send, and that’s all! Your avatar will be sent as a message to the recipient, giving a personal touch to your chats.
