Gaming laptops from ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and TUF Dash F15 have made their official debuts in India. The former is advertised as the first detachable 2-in-1 gaming laptop in the market and comes equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU and an Intel Core i9-12900H processor with up to 14 cores. A choice between a 4K 60Hz touch screen display and an FHD 120Hz display is available, as well as support for external GPU and XG Mobile. The stylus and Dolby Vision HDR support are both hallmarks of the ROG design aesthetic.

The TUF Dash F15, on the other hand, is a traditional gaming laptop with a contemporary appearance. It has an aluminium lid with a mecha-inspired design and a WQHD display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Check out the costs and features.

ASUS ROG TUF F15 is a 15.6-inch IPS FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 15.6-inch IPS WQHD display with a 165Hz refresh rate are the two display options available for the laptop. It is equipped with an Intel Core i7-12650H processor that is up to the 12th generation, along with up to 16GB of DDR5 SDRAM and 512GB or 1TB of M.2 NVME PCIe 3.0 SSD storage. Military-grade MIL-STD requirements are met by the laptop.

The chipset is paired with an 8GB GDDR6 VRAM Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. The laptop includes a Dolby Atmos two-speaker system, a backlit chiclet keyboard, an HD camera with an integrated array microphone, and AI noise-cancelling technology.

Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2 are available connectivity options. The Asus ROG TUF F15 has an RJ45 LAN port, a Thunderbolt 4 DisplayPort, two USB Type-A (3.2) ports, a USB Type-C port, HDMI 2.0b, and a pair of 3.5mm audio jacks.

ASUS ROG Flow Z13 (2022) Laptop Specifications and Features: 

The 13.4-inch FHD display on the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a 1,920 x 1,200 pixel resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. A 13.4-inch Ultra HD display with a lower refresh rate of 60Hz and a resolution of 3,840 by 2,400 pixels is an optional feature. The display supports Stylus, Adaptive-Sync, and Dolby Vision HDR.

It has a 12-generation Intel Core i9-12900H processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB or 1TB of M.2 MVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage as its power sources. The chipset is connected to a 4GB DDR6 VRAM and MUX switch Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. It is asserted to lower in-game lag times and increase performance by up to 10%. For quieter operation, it includes a vapour chamber cooling system combined with liquid metal and 0dB ambient cooling.

To provide more gaming power and I/O expansion, the ASUS Flow Z13 is compatible with the XG Mobile family of external GPUs. Gamers can use an AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT GDDR6 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 to connect their laptop to the 2021 XG Mobile. The laptop includes a backlit chiclet single-zone RGB keyboard with AuraSync support that is magnetically detachable.

For video calls, there is an HD webcam and an 8MP rear camera. There is a 2-speaker system with smart amplifier technology and Dolby Atmos, as well as a 3-microphone array with AI noise-cancelling technology. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2 are just a couple of the connectivity options available. The board has a card reader, a single USB Type-A (2.0), a Thunderbolt 4 DisplayPort, and a single USB Type-C (3.2 Gen 2).

Pricing and Availability: 

The base version of the ASUS TUF Dash F15 costs Rs 90,990, while the ROG Flow Z13 starts at Rs 1,36,990. Asus’ online store, Amazon, Flipkart, ASUS Exclusive stores, ROG stores, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and authorized dealers are now carrying the laptops.
