On April 25, vivo will debut the X80 series in China. Although the firm hasn’t said much about it, prior leaks of the X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro+ give us a good idea of what to expect. While we wait for additional information from vivo on the X80 line of smartphones, the exact specifications for the Pro model have surfaced, which confirm prior speculations while also revealing new information.
Vivo X80 Pro Expected Specifications:
The vivo X80 Pro is expected to have a 6.78″ 120Hz 2K AMOLED screen, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and a 4,700 mAh battery, according to the source. This is similar to what we’ve already heard, except the source claims that the X80 Pro would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which contradicts prior reports that the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 CPU.
According to the rumour, the vivo X80 Pro will include four cameras on the back: a 50MP primary camera (f/1.57), a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP periscope camera (with 5x optical and 60x digital zoom). According to previous rumours, the ultrawide and telephoto lenses will have 12MP sensors.
While the source does not specify the resolution of the selfie camera, rumours suggest that the X80 Pro will include a 32MP front camera.
An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12 round out the rest of the vivo X80 Pro’s reported specs. The smartphone will have a thickness of 9.1mm and a weight of 220 grammes.
