Apple announced new cases for the iPhone 14 series

Apple

Apple announced the iPhone 14 series, along with a new set of accessories. While the new models appear to be nearly identical to the 2021 generation, the dimensions are not identical, so compatibility with older cases is not guaranteed. In any case, there isn’t much in the way of case innovation.

About Apple iPhone 14 series cases

There are three styles available: clear cases, silicone cases, and leather cases, all of which are compatible with MagSafe. It is all official first-party cases, but there are also newly designed undername OtterBox cases. The MagSafe leather cases, MagSafe battery packs, and MagSafe chargers remain unchanged. It’s also worth noting that the new AirPods Pro can be charged using Apple Watch chargers, as well as MagSafe and Qi chargers (and with a Lightning cable, of course).

To recall, the iPhone 14 Pro features a 6.1-inch screen, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen. Both have a Super Retina XDR display, AOD, ProMotion, and 2000 nits of peak brightness. Its 48MP main camera with a quad-pixel sensor offers twice as good low-light images (a first for Apple). It has sensor-shift optical image stabilisation. Deep Fusion improves image quality with the new Photonic Engine Support. A 12 MP ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens are also included.

Action mode, a 12MP TrueDepth camera, adaptive true-tone flash with 9 LEDs, Night Mode, Smart HDR 4, Portrait Mode with Portrait Lighting, Cinematic Mode, ProRes, ProRAW, Dolby Vision HDR for films, and more are supported. The iPhone 14 Pro Series is powered by the A16 Bionic chipset, which offers 40% quicker performance and a 50% better GPU than prior versions. The iPhone 14 Pro series will be available in India commencing September 16, with pre-orders begins today September 9 at 5:30 p.m. IST. The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max come in Space Black, Silver, Gold, and Deep Purple with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage.
