Apple has announced the Apple Music Sing feature for Apple Music, which will allow users to sing along to their favourite songs with adjustable vocals and real-time lyrics. This provides multiple lyric views for duets, backup singing, and more.
Apple says it will offer tens of millions of the world’s most singable songs, as well as more than 50 dedicated companion playlists containing all of the epic songs, duets, choruses, and anthems that have compelled people all over the world to sing—all fully optimised for the Apple Music Sing experience.
Apple Music Sing: Features
Adjustable vocals: On millions of songs in the Apple Music catalogue, you can sing along with the original artist’s vocals, take the lead, or mix it up.
Real-time lyrics: Sing along to your favourite songs with animated lyrics that move to the beat of the music.
Background vocals: So that users can follow along better, vocal lines that are sung at the same time can be separated from the main vocals.
Duet view: To make duets or multi-singer tracks easier to sing along to, multiple vocalists appear on opposite sides of the screen.
Availability
Apple Music Sing will be available to Apple Music subscribers later this month on iPhone, iPad, and the new Apple TV 4K.
