Audible is now adding Dolby Atmos to Podcasts and Originals

Audible

Dolby Laboratories and Audible have collaborated to bring Dolby Atmos to Audible.  This provides a variety of cinematic listening experiences using cutting-edge spatial sound.

Collection of Dolby Atmos and Audible Originals

The Dolby Atmos collection features exceptional audio storytelling in a variety of genres, including multi-cast productions, live performances, and podcasts. It includes works by accomplished actors, writers, directors, and sound designers.

Over 40 popular Audible Originals are now available in spatial audio with Dolby Atmos in the launch collection. The collection also includes new titles such as The Little Mermaid narrated by Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Marrow by Audible Theater.

Dolby Atmos allows audio narratives to be enhanced by placing sounds in a three-dimensional space. Listeners are fully immersed in a richer and more lifelike spatial sound experience that draws them deeper into each story thanks to increased sound layering and control over audio directionality.

Dolby Atmos, which is available on Audible, allows you to experience the enchanting tale of The Little Mermaid like never before

This classic story of a young mermaid’s desire to become human, narrated by Leigh-Anne Pinnock, a member of Little Mix and a talented singer-songwriter and actor, is sure to captivate both parents and children. Allow Dolby Atmos to bring to life this beloved Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale for an unforgettable listening experience.

Here are a few highly acclaimed Dolby Atmos Audible Originals:

  • Jamie Lee Curtis’s “Letters From Camp,”
  • Maejor’s “Maejor Frequency,”
  • Aditi Kapil’s “Marrow,”
  • The star-studded “The Prophecy,”
  • Brian Cox-led “Oliver Twist,”
  • Third installment of the award-winning “The Sandman Act III.”
