One million made-in-India units were successfully manufactured in a single quarter under the Rock in India campaign by Imagine Marketing Limited, India’s #1 earwear brand* (also known as “Imagine Marketing” or “boAt”). Through the campaign, boAt showcases how it supports both “Make in India” and “Rock in India.”
To celebrate, boAt has launched the Rock in India campaign, which showcases the devotion and meticulousness of unsung heroes in designing and producing each product. BoAt praises the factory’s symphony by combining it into a piece that mirrors India’s hustle and zeal. It revolutionised India’s music scene.
India is pursuing the Make in India ideal. In 2022, boAt partnered with Dixon Technologies to manufacture Bluetooth-enabled hearables in India. They launched India’s first TWS. By engaging new Indian vendors, BoAt intends to diversify its supply base and boost the supply chain’s robustness. With a bigger network of suppliers, boAt hopes to increase production to meet demand from Indian customers.
The Make in India project and the Production Linked Incentive Scheme have supported firms like boAt by enabling viable local manufacturing choices to minimise supply chain interruption, cut logistical costs by bringing manufacturing closer to the point of use, and produce economies of scale.
Since the first quarter of FY 2022, a considerable quantity of boAt Rockerz, Bassheads, Airdopes, and accessories (including cables and power banks) have been manufactured in India.
