OpenAI recently launched its highly anticipated ChatGPT app for iOS in the United States, and it has now expanded its availability to several new countries. The app reached Albania, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, South Korea, and the United Kingdom a few days ago. And just recently, it became available for download in India and many more countries.

The list of new countries where the ChatGPT app is now accessible includes Algeria, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Estonia, Ghana, India, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Namibia, Nauru, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Qatar, Slovenia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Within a mere six days of its launch, the ChatGPT app has already surpassed an impressive milestone of 500,000 downloads on the App Store. It currently holds the top spot for free productivity apps worldwide and ranks as the second most popular app in India.

The ChatGPT app offers a convenient feature that allows users to synchronize their chat history across multiple devices, ensuring a seamless and continuous conversation experience. Furthermore, it incorporates Whisper, an open-source speech recognition system, enabling users to input text through voice commands.

OpenAI continues to enhance the ChatGPT app by regularly introducing new features. Over the past week, the iOS version has received various improvements, including enhanced battery efficiency, auto-disabling of haptic feedback on low battery, Enhanced Voice Input, the option to Clear Chat History, Disable History, and improved support for Right-to-Left languages.
