WhatsApp partnered with Digilocker

MyGov has teamed up with WhatsApp to bring new Digilocker features to the popular messaging app. These services include setting up and verifying their Digilocker account, as well as downloading papers such as their PAN card, driver’s licence, and vehicle registration certificate.

The government hopes to make government services more accessible, inclusive, transparent, and straightforward with the MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp. Users can now get documents such as their PAN card, driving licence, CBSE Class X Passing Certificate, Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance Policy – Two Wheeler, Class X and XII Marksheet, and Insurance Policy Document (Life and Non-life available on Digilocker) from the MyGov Helpdesk.

How to download Digilocker documents on WhatsApp:

Step 1: Add +91 9013151515 to your contact list.
Step 2: Open WhatsApp.
Step 3: Send Namaste or Hello to +91 9013151515 via WhatsApp.
Step 4: The Digilocker Helpdesk will email you a list of its services.
Step 5: Type in the service number you want to use.

The Digilocker Helpdesk will share the document on WhatsApp after the process is completed. Those who have their documents saved on the Digilocker app, which is available on both the Google Play and Apple App stores, can use the services.
