Google has announced that Workspace will be receiving new updates. Improved accuracy in Gmail, customizable pivot tables in Sheets, and the ability to share Docs, Sheets, or Slides files with Google Meet call participants via in-meeting chat are among the updates. Previously, Google Workspace apps were updated for larger screens.
Resizing Pivot Tables in Sheets
Google has announced the addition of a user-requested feature that allows users to change the width of the pivot table editor side panel while creating or editing a pivot table. This feature is useful when column or field names are too long to display in their entirety.

Google Improved search results based on recent search activity in Gmail
When using Gmail on the web, you will now see improved search results based on your most recent Gmail search activity. Furthermore, Gmail facilitates searching by suggesting search terms as you type.
These search terms are derived from information in your messages, contacts, labels, or previous searches. Filters can help you narrow down the results of your search. According to the blog post, the new update to Gmail search will improve the results by making them more relevant and contextual.
Google introduced the ability to join or present on a Google Meet call directly from Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides earlier this year. If a user is presenting or attending a meeting from a file, they can now quickly share files with meeting attendees via in-meeting chat.

With this update, you can grant access to a document, spreadsheet, or presentation to all or some meeting attendees. This allows everyone in the meeting to interact while they are talking.

Availability
According to Google, all Workspace and G Suite users will be able to get these updates within the next 15 business days.
