Google has made its Bard AI tool available to users with Google Workspace accounts. At launch, Bard was limited to consumer accounts only, leaving Workspace users out of the loop. However, Google has now opened up access to Bard for Workspace users. To access Bard, Workspace admins will need to enable it for their domains.
Currently, the waitlist for Bard still applies to Workspace accounts. Workspace admins will need to enable Bard for their domains, but the option to do so is expected to roll out in the coming days. Bard settings for managed accounts will be available under “Early access apps,” with other products possibly added later.
Bard is an AI writing tool that offers suggestions for grammar, spelling, and even tone. It uses machine learning to analyze text and provide feedback, helping users to improve their writing. With the addition of Bard to Workspace products, Google aims to improve collaboration and streamline workflows for its users.
Earlier this year, we announced Bard, an early experiment by Google that lets you collaborate with generative AI. As a creative and helpful collaborator, Bard can supercharge your imagination, boost your productivity, and help you bring your ideas to life.In the coming days, Google Workspace admins will be able to turn access to Bard on for their users, in the Admin console under Apps > Additional Google services > Early Access Apps.
