Every other smartphone OEM is maximising profits by accelerating smartphone charging speeds as fast charging emerges as the newest trend. A 300-watt fast charger from Xiaomi that can recharge 4100 mAh in 5 minutes was recently on display. It appears that Infinix is developing a 260W charging brick for one of their smartphones.

On March 11, Infinix will introduce its 260W charging system, according to GSMArena. The Infinix 260W “Thunder Charge” charger is confirmed in a photograph next to a device that resembles the Infinix Zero Ultra, which launched with 180W charging capability.
A four-way 100W charge pump and an AHB (advanced high-performance bus) circuit design with safe charging control are reportedly part of the new 260W charging system.
Along with this new charging standard, Infinix is reportedly testing a 100W wireless charging system. Longer peak power charging times, lower internal resistance, and higher charging efficiency are all features of the unique coil design.
At the moment, realme is the fastest at charging smartphones. The recently announced realme GT3 supports 240W charging and takes about 9 minutes, 30 seconds to fully recharge a 4600mAh battery. Thus, we anticipate Infinix doing better.
It’s unknown if the business will also introduce a smartphone that supports 260W charging. Next week, more details about the charging solution ought to be accessible.
