Intel Unison App launched: All New Way to Control Your Smartphone From a Laptop

Intel

Yesterday, Intel announced Unison, a new software solution that connects Android and iOS smartphones to Windows PCs, at the Intel Innovation event. This upcoming app, like the Microsoft Phone Link app, will include file transfer, text messaging, phone calls, and phone notifications.

Intel Unison: Features

  • File transfer: When users move files and photos between a PC and an Android or iOS device, they save time, boost the power of the PC, and enjoy being able to take a photo or video on a phone and edit it on the PC without any interruptions.
  • Text message: To avoid device switching and to enjoy the comfort and ease of a full keyboard and monitor, users send and receive text messages from PCs.
  • Phone calls: Users with access to a phone’s full contact list can make and receive voice calls directly from their PCs.
  • Phone notifications: To stay connected and in control, users can receive and manage phone notifications from a PC.

Intel Unison Availability and roll out

Intel Unison will be available this year on some Intel Evo laptops from Acer, HP, and Lenovo with 12th Gen Intel Core processors. It will also be available in early 2023 on designs with 13th Gen Intel Core processors.
