Ahead of the introduction of the next generation iOS 17 and a few highly anticipated gadgets at its developer conference, WWDC 2023, Apple has already been the subject of multiple leaks. It is expected that Apple will issue a software update with new add-ons that will make it easier for customers to conduct day-to-day operations while upgrading the user interface for iPhone users, as it does every year.

A report suggests that Apple plans to send out features and add-ons listed below to all iOS 17 eligible iPhones:
- Journaling App: According to The Wall Street Journal, the company plans to introduce a pre-installed journal application codenamed Jurassic, which will be a mental health tool that can help users with depression and anxiety. The app would help users plan their day and remember special days.
- Health Upgrades: Apple is expected to roll out AI-powered health coaching services called Quartz, which uses data from the Apple watch and could be subscription-based. The company is also expected to roll out a mood and emotion tracker, and reports suggest that the Health application will be available on iPad as a part of iPadOS 17.
- New App Store: Apple may bring the side-loading option that allows users to install applications from other sources. However, this could potentially open up the device to viruses on the internet.
- Apple Watch May Connect With More Than One Device: Apple Watch, which currently pairs with only one Apple device, may be able to connect with many devices.
- Apple Library: Customizable categories may be added to the Apple Library, which debuted with iOS 14.
- Share Lock Screen With A Friend: Users may be able to share their lock screen with friends by replicating the wallpaper, emojis, colors, fonts, and widgets.
- Custom Accessibility Mode: The new mode will allow users to restrict their iPhones to fewer programs and less functionality, making it an ideal option for battery saving and parental controls.
- Control Centre UI: The company is expected to make some changes to the control center.
- Apple Music Changes: Apple Music will focus more on new images and graphics, and a new add-on will allow users to view screen lyrics directly on their iPhone’s lock screen.
- Stepless Control For Flashlight Brightness: iOS 17 will reportedly have step-less increments for torch brightness, enabling more precise control.
