Amazon has launched the 3rd gen Fire TV Cube and Alexa Voice Remote Pro in India. The 3rd gen Fire TV Cube is powered by a new 2.0GHz octa-core processor that’s 20% faster than the previous generation.

The Fire TV Cube supports 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, HDR, and an enhanced audio experience with Dolby Atmos Audio. It works with Super Resolution Upscaling, which makes the image quality better by converting HD content to 4K without a hitch. This gives the image more detail, contrast, and clarity.
The new Fire TV Cube also has an HDMI input port, allowing users to connect compatible set-top boxes, soundbars, and other devices directly. Aside from the HDMI port, the device supports Wi-Fi 6 and has a new Ethernet port for wired network connections. Also, the Fire TV Cube has an extra USB port that lets you connect webcams that work with Alexa Communications so you can make video calls.
Instead of manually changing inputs, users can now simply say “Alexa, switch to DTH,” and ask Alexa to browse channels from compatible set-top box providers. Customers can control their TV, set-top boxes, and on-demand streaming with the Fire TV Cube’s Alexa Voice Remote or hands-free with Alexa. The Fire TV Cube supports Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA), which lets people connect directly to Bluetooth hearing aids that work with ASHA.
