Canon India expanded its printing portfolio with the launch of the imagePROGRAF TC-20, the company’s first desktop 4-color pigment ink large format printer with A1 plus capability.

- The imagePROGRAF TC-20 has been designed to fit into a small, tight space and print a variety of document sizes ranging from A4 to A1/24 inches.
- It can be placed on a flat-top desk, cabinet, or shelf in a home office or satellite office.
- It has pigment ink for all colours, which produces fine lines and text on drawings and delivers vivid colour expression in posters and flyers, particularly in red to attract attention.
- The prints will not smudge or fade as a result of accidental water spills or highlighter markers.
It comes with a total of 280 ml of ink (4 x 70 ml) to accommodate a variety of applications such as CAD drawings, GIS maps, posters, and flyers, reducing the frequency and effort of ink refills. It has the ability to load rolls and cut sheets at the same time for easy printing from A4 to A1 sizes, reducing waiting time. Select paper sizes from applications before sending to print.
To help users work more efficiently, the TC-20 integrates with a variety of free software and applications. Users can use the PosterArtist4 web application to create their own designs from a variety of templates and print marketing collateral such as posters and flyers on the TC-20 to meet a variety of business needs. It also provides For continuous printing, the standard built-in auto sheet feeder can accommodate up to 100 A4 or 50 A3 cut sheets. There is less downtime to reload paper.
The large-format printer is compatible with the free software Direct Print Plus, which allows users to send multiple prints in formats such as PDF and TIFF. Users can preview the layout of files without having to launch a separate application for each file, effectively reducing time spent and print waste.
Additionally, users can check the usage of roll paper and ink using smartphones or tablets and keep the TC-20 up to date with the latest firmware by using the Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY application. Users can also print documents stored in the cloud using the application’s PIXMA Cloud Link 6.
