The HUAWEI Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, Mate 50 RS, and Mate 50E smartphones were unveiled. HUAWEI’s Mate series has always pushed the smartphone industry forward with its innovative technologies. So, what makes this Mate 50 Series unique? Let us investigate further.
Soon after the launch, HUAWEI listed two premium models on their global website, implying a faster global rollout of the devices. Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro were the two models listed. Let’s take a closer look at the booth of the devices now.
HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro Features:
HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro symmetrically curved design and contains a big notch at the front. It has a large 6.74″ 120 Hz curved screen with 1440Hz PWM dimming, which reduces flicker. The screen is protected by powerful Kunlun Glass which the firm claims as first-ever five-star glass drop resistance certification from Switzerland’s SGS.
The 50MP OIS main camera on the Mate 50 Pro has a six-blade variable aperture that can be adjusted from f/1.4 to f/4.0. The 3.5x telephoto camera has a 64MP f/3.5 and OIS sensor, while the ultrawide camera has a 13MP sensor and f/2.2 lens. The use of a RYYB sensor by the telephoto lens is intriguing. A13MP ultrawide camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 3D ToF sensor are placed in the front notch.
The Mate 50 Pro’s new Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera auto-adjusts the aperture to meet the needs of the moment, and Professional mode offers 10 different aperture sizes to choose from, allowing you to tailor the blur and depth of field in your latest masterpiece.
A 4,700 mAh battery powers the Mate 50 Pro, and both 66W wired and 50W wireless charging are supported. Even if there is only 1% battery life left, an advanced emergency battery saving mode will let you keep the phone on standby for three hours.
A satellite connection using the so-called Beidou Satellite Message 3 protocol is one of the system’s other noteworthy features. In essence, it means that even without cellular coverage, you can send a message and a location.
