Infinix already had four smartphones in its Note 12 line: the Note 12, the Note 12 G96, the Note 12i, and the Note 12 VIP. Today, the company is adding the Note 12 5G and the Note 12 Pro 5G, which brings the total to six.
Both the Infinix Note 12 5G and the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G share a lot of the same specs, but they have different memory and camera systems. The base model has 6GB (+3GB virtual) RAM and 64GB of storage, while the Pro version has 8GB (+5GB virtual) RAM and 128GB of storage. Both have microSD card slots that can hold up to 2TB of extra storage.
The 108MP main camera on the back of the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G is joined by 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras. On the other hand, the Note 12 5G has a main camera with 50MP, a depth unit with 2MP, and a “AI Lens.”
At 186g, the regular model is two grams lighter than the Pro version, even though the dimensions and battery capacity are the same (5,000 mAh). There are speeds of up to 33W for charging.
The Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G also have a Dimensity 810 SoC, a 6.7″ FullHD+ AMOLED screen, and XOS 10.6 based on Android 12. There’s a 16MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint scanner on the side, and two speakers. The two phones are also the first in the Note 12 line to have 5G connectivity.
In India, the Infinix Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G cost INR14,999 ($189/€187) and INR17,999 ($227/€224), respectively. They will go on sale in India on July 14 through Flipkart in two colors: Force Black and Snowfall White.
