As promised, Motorola made its new flagship foldable phone official in China a few days back. The phone has a high-end design, a 50 MP camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and many other features. Let’s have a closer look at this new flip style folding phone.
All about moto razr 2022
And to give its customers a gapless folding design this time, Motorola revised the hinge mechanism. The Moto Razr 2022 can now also sit halfway on a table. This can also be used to multitask, take pictures, and more.
The diagonal of the screen is 6.7″, which is the same as the previous model, but there are no other similarities. The new OLED panel has an improved hinge that bends in the shape of a pear to completely close when folded, supports HDR10+, and has a refresh rate of 144Hz. A punch-hole design for the 32MP front-facing camera was also introduced by Motorola, replacing the odd notch with the panel tucking underneath.
Now that we think about it, we don’t want to call it a selfie shooter because most selfies will probably be taken with the dual camera on the back and the apparently unaltered external 2.7″ OLED screen.
Similar to the Edge 30 Pro and S30 Pro, the main camera has a 50MP 1/1.55″ sensor and OIS. A 13MP, 121-degree FOV ultrawide-angle camera serves as the backup camera.
The Moto Razr 2022 is the first Moto Razr device to feature the top-tier Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset; the previous two models used Snapdragon 7xx series chipsets.
Support for RAW photography, the MyUI 4.0 interface, which redesigned some apps to work on the outside screen as well, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and proper DC dimming are among the additional specifications.
