On Tuesday, Nothing unveiled its very first smartphone. The recycled aluminum Nothing Phone (1) has a distinctive rear design with a transparent glass panel and a Glyph Interface. According to the user’s preferences, the LED lights can turn on for calls, app notifications, charging status, and more. Starting on July 21, Flipkart and Nothing’s official website will both be selling the Nothing Phone (1), which has a starting price of Rs 32,999.

The Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and Nothing OS based on Android 12 are additional features of the Nothing Phone (1). According to the manufacturer, the phone will get four years of security updates in addition to three years of Android updates. Additionally, it has a unique game mode for an engaging gaming experience.

Nothing Phone (1) Specifications:

The 6.55-inch 10-bit OLED display on the Nothing Phone (1) boasts a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2400 x 1080-pixel resolution, HDR10+, 402PPI, and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset powers the Phone (1), and an Adreno 642L GPU handles graphic requirements. It has 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The dual rear cameras on the Nothing Phone (1) have both OIS and EIS image stabilization. A 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with a 1.88 m primary aperture and a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with a 2.2 m ultra-wide lens make up the camera system. For selfies and video calls, the front camera’s 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor has a 2.45 aperture.

The phone has a 4,500mAh battery that supports both 15W Qi wireless charging and 33W fast charging. According to the manufacturer, the fast charger can recharge the Phone (1) up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Wi-Fi 6 and 802.11 a/b/g/, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G, in-display fingerprint reader, facial recognition, dual stereo speakers, and IP53 rating are among the connectivity features of the Nothing Phone (1). Nothing OS, which is based on Android 12, comes preinstalled on the Nothing Phone (1). For the Nothing Phone, Nothing guarantees three years of Android updates and four years of security patches every two months (1).

Price of Nothing Phone (1) in India:

The nothing Phone (1) can be purchased in either black or white, depending on your preference. It will be available for purchase on Flipkart as well as Nothing’s main website beginning on July 21 at 7:00 PM IST. There are three different configurations available for the Nothing Phone (1): units with 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/256GB storage, and 12GB RAM/256GB storage.

In India, the base model of the Nothing Phone (1) has an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity, and it can be purchased for Rs 32,999. The 8GB RAM/256GB storage unit can be purchased for Rs 35,999, and the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant can be purchased for Rs 38,999. There is a discount of Rs 1,000 available on the Nothing Phone as part of the introductory offer that the company is providing (1).

When using their HDFC bank cards to purchase the Nothing Phone (1), customers who pre-ordered the device will immediately receive a discount of Rs 2,000. Users can purchase a Nothing Power 45W charger for Rs. 2,500, while buyers who pre-order it can get it for Rs. 1,500 off the retail price. The Nothing Ear (1) will be available for a price of Rs 6,999, but customers who pre-order it will pay only Rs 5,999 for it.
