Vivo is updating its Y-series line-up in India with the release of Vivo Y51. In Indonesia the same model was released earlier this month with three rear cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and a 5,000mAh battery. Notably, a smartphone model from the Chinese tech company has the same moniker with quad camera, but is only in selected markets. The Vivo Y51’s rear camera module is identical to the Vivo 20 telephone in India.
The price of the Vivo Y51 in India is RS 17,990 for the single storage variety 8GB + 128GB, with a two-color Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony smartphone. The business has announced its sales offers, including Rs 101 off with Bajaj Finserv credit card during EMI transactions, as well as other benefits with HDB Financial Services, ZestMoney and IDFC Bank, even though its availability data is still unknown in India. “Continuing Vivo’s commitment to ‘Make in India’, the all-new Vivo Y51 is manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility,” said the company.
Furthermore, Vivo upgrades the Vivo Y30 storage option. The price is Rs 14,990. There is a 6GB + 128GB version. More details are expected soon regarding the availability.
The newly released Vivo Y51 provides a 6.58-inch fully-HD + LCD display (1.080×2.408 pixels) with a cabinet. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, together with 8GB of RAM and 128GB, is available under the cap with a MicroSD card for up to 1TB. Its 3D camera configuration comprises a 48-megapixel main f/1.79 aperture camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide f/2.2 aperture camera and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 aperture camera. The rear cameras are capable of supporting portrait, 4K, ultra-stable footage, pano, live, slow moving, time-lapsing, super night, and more modes. A 16 megapixel snapper is available for selfies.
Other features on the Vivo Y51 include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 networking, 3.5mm audio jack, and more. It comes with a 4.500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone is expected to deliver 14.3 hours of video playback.
