Xiaomi 13 Ultra with Leica Optics, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC launched

If you are looking for a smartphone that can deliver a professional camera experience, you might want to check out the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the latest result of Xiaomi and Leica’s collaboration in further advancing mobile imaging technology. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra debuted today at the Xiaomi 13 Ultra Launch Event, and it has some impressive features that make it stand out from the crowd.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra flaunts a quad camera system that covers six focal lengths, ranging from 12mm to 240mm. The main camera is a 50MP Leica Summicron lens with a 1-inch IMX989 sensor and a variable aperture that can switch between ƒ/1.9 and ƒ/4.0. This allows for more flexibility and creativity in different lighting conditions and scenarios.

The other three cameras are also 50MP sensors with Leica optics, offering ultra-wide, telephoto and super-telephoto capabilities. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also supports In-Sensor-Zoom, which uses pixel binning to achieve high-quality zoom without losing details.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is not only a camera beast, but also a performance beast. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is the first Qualcomm Snapdragon platform to be manufactured using an advanced 4nm process technology. This means faster performance, lower power consumption and better AI capabilities. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also has a Loop Liquid Cool technology that uses a vapor liquid separation design and a one-way circulation structure to improve cooling efficiency and thermal conductivity.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also boasts a stunning display that can rival any flagship device. It has a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz and an adaptive LTPO C7 technology that can dynamically adjust the refresh rate according to the content.

The display also supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and has a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits. The display has excellent color accuracy and contrast, thanks to the TrueColor+ technology and the E4 material.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is a premium device that offers the ultimate in all capabilities. It has a classic design with a ceramic back and an aluminum frame, and it comes in two colors: black and white. It has a large battery of 5000mAh that supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. It also has stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, an IR blaster, an NFC chip and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
