Although the iPhone 14 has not yet been released, online rumors about the iPhone models for 2023 have already begun to circulate. Some significant information regarding the iPhone 15 series’ display has just surfaced in a new report. According to an Omdia report, Apple will introduce iPhone 15 models with displays that are the same size as those found in the iPhone 14 series.
The hole-punch cutout will still be present in the iPhone 15 display, according to the report. According to rumors, Apple will cut out a pill-shaped cutout and replace the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Let’s look at the iPhone 15 display information that was made public prior to the iPhone 14 launch.
iPhone 15 Series to feature dual hole-punch design on front:
The rumor mill has already begun leaking some information about the 2023 iPhone models, even though Apple hasn’t even released the iPhone 14 series. According to the Omdia report, the iPhone models for the following year will have screens that are identical to those of the upcoming iPhone 14 series.
The iPhone 14 series will reportedly have a 6.1-inch and a 6.7-inch display, according to rumors. The new iPhone 14 Max and the iPhone 14 Pro Max both have 6.7-inch displays, in contrast to the 6.1-inch displays on the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro.
The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro will both have 6.1-inch displays if the information in the report is accurate. A 6.7-inch screen will be available on the iPhone 15 Max and 15 Pro Max. The hole-punch cutout will be present on all four models, according to the report. Apple is rumored to release the Pro models this year with a pill-shaped cutout and hole punch. The wide notch seen on the iPhone 13 models will also be present on the non-Pro iPhone models.
The Omdia report also stated that when it comes to under-screen camera technology, Apple lags behind the competition. According to earlier rumors, the displays of the 15 Pro models that will be released the following year won’t have any cutouts. According to rumors, the Face ID sensors would be located below the display.
The release of the iPhone 15 models is still more than a year away. The information that was leaked might therefore alter over the next few months.
