This year, Motorola plans to introduce two new foldable phones with a clamshell design – the Razr 2023 and the Razr+ 2023. The latter will be the more premium model, while the former will be a more affordable option. Some images of the Razr 2023, also known as Razr Lite, have leaked online, revealing a similar look to some of the older Galaxy Z Flip models with a small screen next to the cameras on the cover.
The Razr 2023 has a foldable screen with a hole for the selfie camera and narrow bezels around it. On the upper right side, there are buttons for volume and power. The dual cameras on the cover are arranged vertically, unlike the Razr 2022 which had them horizontally above a large 2.7-inch screen. The new model has a very small screen next to the cameras, which might show some notifications, but not much else. To interact with them, you would still need to unfold the phone.
The device may go by the name of Razr Lite 2023 or just Razr 2023, but the official name has not been confirmed yet. There is not much information available about the new foldable phone from Motorola, but more details might emerge in the coming weeks.
