A new phone is coming soon from vivo – the X90S. It will be part of the X90 series that includes the X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro+. The X90S will have a special feature: it will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, which has not been officially announced yet. The chipset is expected to launch on May 10 and we have some details about it from a Google Play Console listing.
vivo X90S Chipset details
The listing shows that the MediaTek MT6985 chipset, which is likely the same as the Dimensity 9200+, will have an ARM Cortex-X3 core running at 3.05 Ghz, 3x Cortex-A715 cores at 2.85GHz and 4x Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8GHz. It will also have an ARM Mali G715 GPU.
The chipset seems to be very powerful, as it scored higher than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on Geekbench. This means that the X90S could offer a smooth and fast performance for gaming and multitasking.

Other specifications
The listing also reveals that the X90S will have a display with a resolution of 1260 × 2800px and a hole-punch design, which could provide a high-quality and immersive viewing experience. Moreover, the X90S will have 12GB of RAM and Android 13 as the operating system, which could ensure a smooth and secure user experience.
