This new action is apparently part of Samsung’s strategy to publicise the ‘World EXPO 2030 BUSAN’ before the final host nation is chosen in November 2023. Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, and Italy are also competing.
According to the article, TM Roh, head of Samsung’s MX Division, is seriously debating moving the Unpacked event to Busan in order to help with the exhibition.
