Even though Huawei hasn’t said when the Mate 50 series will be released, we know that the next flagship phone is being made. While this is going on, concept artist Hoiindi keeps making new concept renders of the Huawei Mate 50 series, which feature the XMAGE camera system and add to the excitement.
From the front, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro has a curved screen and a wide notch on the top where different kinds of camera sensors can be placed. The left and right sides of the display on the front are also rounded.
The back of the phone has a big camera with three different lenses: the main camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a periscope camera. But this camera set-up has not been officially confirmed.
The camera is round, and the module has big holes for the back camera system to fit in. Not only that, but the Huawei Mate 50 renders also show XMAGE branding on the camera module, which is nice to see. On the left and right sides of the back panel, there are big curves.
The Huawei Mate 50 series will be powered by a new generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship processors, but it’s likely that the phone won’t be able to connect to 5G networks because of how things are now.
On the other hand, powerful camera technologies will be built into the Huawei Mate 50 series. Huawei recently showed off the XMAGE image system, which is a new camera image system that will be used in Huawei’s top-of-the-line phones now that the company is no longer working with Leica.
In China, the phone will run on the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system. If it goes outside of China, it will come with EMUI 12 or the next version up until the launch date.
