The OPPO Reno8 series already has seven devices, and the Reno8 Z 5G is the most recent one to be announced. And now, the Oppo Reno8 4G will soon join the rest of the lineup of Oppo’s mid-range devices. The next OPPO Reno8 4G device has been revealed in the below official-looking images. It obviously retains some of the design cues that identify it as a Reno8 series model. Supposedly, there will be two colour choices: Dawnlight Gold and a black one. Remember that this device is the 4G variant of the Reno8, not the recently launched Reno8, which has 5G support.
OPPO Reno8 4G: Specifications
According to rumours, the Reno8 4G will actually share the majority of its specifications with the Reno7 4G, which was released back in April. The Snapdragon 680 SoC, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, should be driving the storage along with the ColorOS 12.1 operating system. Supposedly, this also features a 6.43-inch 90 Hz AMOLED touchscreen. The phone includes a 4,500 mAh battery that charges at a 33W speed, a triple rear camera system with a 64 MP primary sensor as well as a couple of 2MP Macro and depth sensors. A 32MP camera should be placed on the front to handle selfies.
So, as you have obviously seen, this is yet another relatively minor change that will become the standard for the mid-range in 2022. The phone will debut in selected markets, with India being one of them.
