LG unveils Z3, G3, and C3 OLED evo series TVs with enhanced webOS, new features and more

LG

LG Electronics announced their 2023 television lineups, which include their most advanced OLED television series to date. Superior self-illuminating image quality, sophisticated image processing technologies, and an enhanced webOS platform with even more intelligent features and services

LG Z3, G3 and C3 OLED evo series TVs: Features

LG’s latest Alpha series CPU improves picture and sound quality with AI-assisted deep learning. Increased upscaling and dynamic tone mapping in AI Picture Pro reveal depth and detail in every frame.

Furthermore, to improve HDR quality, the AI Picture Pro recognises and refines essential objects, such as people’s faces. LG’s AI Sound Pro, which delivers realistic 9.1.2 surround sound from the TV’s speaker system, is also powered by the 9 AI Processor Gen6.

This year’s OLED evo G3 series also includes LG’s Brightness Booster Max technology, which boosts brightness by 70%. Pixel-by-pixel brightness mapping results in sharper, more realistic images. LG’s 2023 G3 OLED evo models feature a seamless “One Wall Design” upgrade.

2023 LG OLED TVs are designed to be environmentally friendly from start to finish. LG OLED TVs do not have a backlighting unit, so they use fewer materials than LED TVs. They use recycled plastics and ship in eco-friendly packaging made of recyclable materials with one-color printing. According to TÜV Rheinland, all LG 2023 OLED TVs are flicker-free and emit low blue light.

LG latest version of webOS: Features

In 2023, LG OLED will also provide a personalised user experience. This year’s models feature All New Home, a revised user interface (UI) that provides additional customization possibilities and convenience.

The new “Quick Cards” provide customers with quick access to their favourite information and services, which are divided into Home Office, Gaming, Music, and Sports categories. LG’s sophisticated webOS makes it simple to receive personalised recommendations based on viewing history and habits.

AI Concierge recommends content to each user based on their previous usage and search inquiries, as well as trending content to browse. LG OLED TVs include Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for first-rate home theatre experiences.

LG TVs from this year seamlessly integrate with the latest LG Soundbars to produce IMAX-enhanced surround sound powered by DTS:X. The WOW Orchestra3 feature on LG TVs and sound bars amplifies and enhances the sound. LG has just released the SC9 and SE6 Dolby Atmos sound bars.

HDMI 2.1a is supported by LG’s 2023 OLEDs. They are the first HDMI-certified televisions for VRR Quick Media Switching (QMS-VRR). QMS-VRR can eliminate the transient “black screen” that occurs when switching between HDMI 2.1a-compliant source devices.

LG’s self-lit OLED TVs also have a 0.1 millisecond response time, a low input lag, and up to four HDMI 2.1a connections for gaming. LG OLED TVs include a Game Optimizer, which allows users to quickly select and switch between gaming-specific options like display presets. The Game Optimizer also has settings for G-SYNC Compatible, FreeSync Premium, and variable refresh rate (VRR).

Availability

LG’s 2023 OLED TVs will be on display at its CES 2023 stand (#15501, Central Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center) from January 5 to January 8th.
