LG Electronics has made the Apple TV app, Apple Music, AirPlay, and HomeKit available in over 100 countries via its webOS Hub. Compatible TVs will now provide a diverse selection of content and innovative features, making smart TV easier and more versatile for more audiences worldwide.

LG is expanding and improving its webOS smart TV platform by adding the Apple TV app, Apple Music, AirPlay, and HomeKit to the webOS Hub. This gives TV manufacturers more customization options and customers a broader selection of content.
LG now works with 200 partners, including Seiki, Eko, Stream System, Konka, Aiwa, and Hyundai, to expand the number of brands available on the webOS Hub. This enables LG to provide a streamlined content viewing experience to millions of people around the world.
Apple TV+, which features award-winning Apple Originals, is accessible via the dedicated Apple TV app on the webOS Hub Home Screen. On the app, users can also subscribe to third-party streaming services and buy or rent over 100,000 movies and TV shows.
Apple Music, which is accessible through the webOS Hub, has over 100 million songs, 30,000 playlists, 4K music videos, and Apple Music Radio. It also includes time-synced lyrics for a better listening experience and access to the user’s personal music library.
AirPlay is supported by LG webOS
webOS Hub supports AirPlay, so users can stream content from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac to their smart TV. Furthermore, webOS Hub-powered TVs are Apple Home-enabled, allowing users to control them via the Apple Home app and Siri via HomeKit technology.

The latest webOS Hub-powered OLED and UHD TVs support AirPlay and HomeKit, enhancing usability and convenience. It should be noted that AirPlay and HomeKit are only available on OLED and UHD TVs equipped with the webOS Hub 2.0.
