Microsoft and AMD plan to fix a Ryzen flaw on Windows 11 PCs Next week.

AMD has acknowledged that its CPUs operating on Windows 11 are experiencing performance issues. It is possible that increased L3 cache delay and sub-optimal thread scheduling will result in a 10-15 percent performance reduction on some CPU models.

The organization has already begun working on a solution, which should be available very shortly. Microsoft is scheduled to deliver an update on October 19, which will be followed by an AMD driver update on October 21, so there’s a strong probability that the issues will be remedied by the end of the day on Thursday.

Microsoft has stated that it will not be releasing Windows 11 to AMD Ryzen-powered computers until that time and that users of such PCs should desist from manually updating their operating system.
