Dec 1, 2020 – The company officially unveiled the Snapdragon 888 5G, which will be seen next year in whereas almost every Android flagship.
Highlights:
- Direct integration of 5G technology
- Users can capture photos and videos at 2.7 gigapixels per second or approximately 120 photos at a resolution of 12 MP, close to 35% faster than the predecessors.
- third-generation X60 5G modem and 6th-gen AI engine – Major improvement in the performance of Qualcomm Adreno GPU
The Xiaomi Mi11 is the first smartphone reported to be running the new chip!
Meanwhile the Snapdragon 888 has also been endorsed by ASUS, Black Shark, Lenovo, LG, MEIZU, Motorola, Nubia, Realme, OnePlus, Oppo, Sharp, Vivo, Xiaomi, and ZTE.
