The Nothing Phone (1) is soon to be released, and information about its specs and features is popping up everyday. The most recent example is a video showing the device’s retail box for the first time. The small form factor of the box is revealed in the video, which confirms the claims that there is no charger inside. The Nothing Phone (1) will likely have a 33W fast charging option that can only be used with a suitable charger.
In a recent video, Technical Guruji, a YouTube channel, and Nothing show off the phone’s box packaging. The white package has a simple look and is comparable in thickness to boxes of other phones that don’t include charging adapters. It is also made clear that the Nothing Phone (1) is made entirely of recycled plastic and aluminium, which Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, previously said also applies to the box.

Another video, which was officially shared by Nothing on TikTok, further confirms that the Phone (1) has a fingerprint scanner built into the display. How quickly the scanner can unlock the gadget is still up in the air. The back panel of the Nothing Phone (1) features a Glyph LED light interface that can be customised to the user’s preferences and illuminates when the Phone (1) is plugged in or when the user receives notifications or alerts. The phone has wireless charging capabilities, runs the Android 12 based Nothing OS, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. The Phone (1) will be offered only on Flipkart in India and potentially through Reliance Digital in the offline market when it launches on July 12 at 8:30 PM IST.
