OPPO and Spotify introduces a Smart, Personalized Music Experience in ColorOS 13: Let’s take a look at the new features

In order to deliver a brand-new, precise, and customized music experience on OPPO smartphones using its most recent ColorOS 13 Android-based Operating System, the company today announced a new cooperation with the well-known audio streaming service, Spotify. With the Spotify app completely integrated with many new smart features in ColorOS 13, users can access and control the app from the home screen of their OPPO smartphone in markets where Spotify is available. Here’s what:

Smart Always-On-Display (AOD)

Spotify’s AOD on OPPO devices with ColorOS 13 allows users a new approach to accessing music, podcasts, and audiobooks. Customers of Spotify may now see what’s playing on the AOD and music control panel without waking the device. The AOD integration allows users to play and control Spotify audio without unlocking their smartphones.

Shelf

ColorOS 13’s new Shelf feature includes a Spotify Card with content suggestions. This makes it easy for customers to find their favourite songs on Spotify. 

Home Screen Widgets

The Spotify widget could be added to the home screen of ColorOS 13 to make it easier to use. 

Clock

An alarm integration in ColorOS 13 Clock lets users wake up to Spotify tunes, playlists, and podcasts.

ColorOS 13 has an aquamorphic design and includes Multi-Screen Connect, Meeting Assistant, Smart AOD, and Home Screen Management.
