OPPO has begun the global rollout of a major software upgrade for its first flip phone, the OPPO Find N2 Flip, which adds expanded functionality to its cover display. The update enhances the user experience for Spotify, WhatsApp, Messenger, Google Messages, Telegram, and LINE chat apps.
All New Spotify Widget for OPPO Find N2 Flip
OPPO and Spotify have worked together to create a new Spotify widget that is specific to the Find N2 Flip and takes advantage of the flip phone’s huge cover screen.
Users can use this widget to control playing, get content suggestions, and interact with the heart button without having to open their device.
Speech-to-Text quick reply feature
Additionally, when users receive messages, the Find N2 Flip now includes a Speech-to-Text quick reply capability that can be accessed from the cover screen.
This function is supported by popular messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Messages by Google, Telegram, and LINE, and it also supports many languages such as English, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Tamil.
Users can manually install the Spotify widget through the screen widget settings under “Pocket Player” for a more personalised experience, and the Speech-to-Text capability will update automatically.
This is the first big update for the Find N2 Flip since its global introduction in February 2023, and it demonstrates OPPO’s dedication to continuous device enhancement.
Availability
These capabilities are accessible with the A.24 ColorOS update for the OPPO Find N2 Flip, which has been available since mid-April.
