On September 6th, Xiaomi is expected to introduce a number of Redmi devices. One of them is the Redmi A1, which is regarded as a low-cost option. 91Mobiles Hindi has gone ahead and revealed all there is to know about this Redmi smartphone based on industry sources even though the company hasn’t yet disclosed its specifications.

Redmi A1 Expected Specifications:
The Redmi A1 will have rounded edges and flat edges, according to 91Mobiles Hindi. Along with Redmi branding, the rear panel will also house a square camera module. The phone’s front will have a waterdrop notch screen, bezels around it, and a bottom chin.
According to the renderings that appear official, the power button and volume rocker are located on the right edge. The phone’s dimensions are 164.9mm x 76.75mm x 9.09mm, and its weight is 191 grammes. The company has also officially confirmed that the phone will come in three colour options: black, green, and blue.
Regarding the technical details, it is said that the Redmi A1 will have a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 1,600x720p resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The MediaTek Helio A22 chipset will power the phone, along with 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of expandable eMMC 5.1 storage that can hold up to 1TB. There are also rumours of a 3GB RAM version.
Moving on, the device will run Android 12 out of the box and be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. The device is probably running Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 Android skin. According to reports, the phone has dual rear cameras with an 8MP (f/2.0) primary sensor and an f/2.2 auxiliary sensor.
It might have a 5MP (f/2.2) front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The Redmi A1’s camera will have features like time-lapse, portrait mode, short videos, and more. However, it appears that the Redmi A1 won’t have a fingerprint reader.
