The prices of various models of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 have been leaked, and it appears that the new wearable device will be priced higher than its predecessor.
Roland Quandt, a journalist for WinFuture and a reputable source, was the one who provided us with this information. According to him, the Galaxy Watch 5 in its most basic configuration, measuring 40 millimeters, will be sold for €300 (approximately $315), while the 44 millimeter model will be priced at €350 (approximately $367).
In the meantime, it has been reported that the LTE models of the Galaxy Watch 5 will cost €350 (approximately $367) for the 40mm variant and €400 (approximately $420) for the 44mm variant.
When compared, the starting price of the Galaxy Watch 4 was 269 euros for the 40mm size and 299 euros for the 44mm variant. When expressed in dollars, those prices were not too far off from what the product was selling for in the United States. The Galaxy Watch 4 with a diameter of 40 millimeters was priced at $249, while the version with a 44 millimeter diameter cost $299. After seeing the prices that were discovered in Europe, it is possible that the Galaxy Watch 5 will be anywhere from $30 to $50 more expensive in the United States this time.
Additionally, Quandt disclosed the cost of purchasing a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. According to him, the Bluetooth model will be priced at €490 (approximately $514), whereas the LTE variant will be priced at €490 (approximately $567). This leads one to believe that Samsung may set the price of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in the United States at more than $400.
As Quandt points out, different regions of the world may use different price conversions and apply different taxes. Therefore, we will need to wait and see how these rumored prices for the Galaxy Watch 5 in Europe translate to those in the United States.
The source of the information also disclosed the various color options for the smartwatch. The 40mm model may be available in pink gold, gray, and silver; the 44mm model, on the other hand, will not feature pink gold and will instead opt for blue. It is anticipated that the Pro model will debut in both black and titanium color schemes.
