Foldable smartphones are currently a hot topic in the smartphone industry, with a slew of new models hitting the market in recent months. Even so, Samsung has dominated the global market because its foldables are so easy to get.
Foldable Samsung Flip devices are in high demand. As a result, many people are anticipating the release of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. According to a new tweet from Ross Young, an analyst for Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), the Galaxy Z Flip 5 could receive “significant upgrades” to the Flip series.
He claims that the outer cover display on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be larger than the current 1.9-inch cover display on the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Furthermore, he claims that for the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung will introduce a new hinge design. This may reduce the visibility of the crease in the centre of the screen, resulting in a better user experience.
Ross also shared rumours about the Galaxy Z Fold 5 along with information about the Galaxy Z Flip 5. These rumours suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be made of lighter materials and will have a wider crease than the current Z Fold 4 crease, making it less visible overall.
These Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5 claims are intriguing. The design of both foldables, which will be released in 2023, is expected to improve. More details about these upcoming Galaxy foldables are expected to be released in the coming months.
