After the subsequent uproar over WhatsApp’s privacy policies, the dynamic development of the Signal Messenger app really does seem to have returned to norm these days. The most recent beta update, version 5.6.1, added a new mute feature that allows you to set this feature to “always.” That was one of the features that Signal requires to catch up to WhatsApp in addition to performance.
What’s New?
★ Give notifications in any conversation a rest (while you rest) with the new 8-hour mute setting. Or choose “Always” instead of one year, and say goodbye to the annual tradition of renewing a moment of silence.

â–¶ Open any of your chats/Group chats on Signal.
â–¶ Tap on the chat profile icon on top to see chat/Group settings.
