Telegram has recently announced the addition of new features to its widely used chat app. These features include shareable chat folders, custom wallpapers, and more. In the latest update, users can enjoy new features such as power-saving mode and optimisations specifically designed for Android devices with lower specifications. Shareable Chat Folders
By providing a link, chat folders can now be shared with others. This makes it simple to invite friends or colleagues to several work groups or news channels at the same time. You can create and label several invite links for various discussions.
You can add users to any public chats or ones where you have admin capabilities. Members will be prompted to join additional conversations if you add more chats to your folder and update the link.
Custom Wallpapers
Custom wallpapers can now be set in certain chats to add personality and make them stand out. After you’ve chosen a wallpaper, you can ask your chat partner to do the same or make their own. This version now includes the ability to set a custom wallpaper in any 1-on-1 chat.
Better Bots
Telegram bots can now host web apps that can be launched from any chat. Bots that enable this functionality have web apps that are accessible via a direct link or by mentioning the bot’s username in any discussion.
Web apps launched in groups can also provide participants with collaboration and multiplayer features. This update gives third-party developers and businesses on Telegram more free options.
Bot Links and Telegram Premium on Fragment
Bots can now use collectible usernames, such as URLs that do not have the “-bot” suffix. You can also buy Telegram Premium for yourself or as a present for others using Fragment.
Fast Scrolling for Attachments
The attachment menu now scrolls as quickly as Shared Media, and you may time travel by dragging the date bar down.
Read Time in Topics
Read receipts Display the time your messages were read by other group members in groups of less than 100 members with topics enabled.
Interface Enhancements
The user experience has been improved in several ways, including Send When Online needing fewer clicks, the option to establish groups without instantly adding members, and new animations for profile images on the latest iPhones.
Availability
The most recent Telegram version, which includes some interesting new features, is now available globally! Android users can get the updated version with these capabilities through Google Play or straight from Telegram, and iOS users can update to the most recent version from the App Store. This update also brings the app’s version up to Telegram for Android v9.6.1.
