Twitter is updating its platform, doubling down on video, providing users with a new immersive viewing experience, easier access to some of the platform’s most popular videos, and showing more videos in Explore.
Immersive viewing and easy discovery
Users of Twitter can now watch videos using the platform’s new immersive viewing experience. This view requires no additional steps; simply tap on a video and it will expand to fit the screen, providing the best experience possible. Also, because Twitter is putting more effort into making it easier to find videos, users can now get sucked into an endless stream of videos.
Swiping up will reveal a new video when a video is expanded in its new immersive view. This process can be repeated indefinitely, providing users with an uninterrupted experience when consuming content. According to Twitter, you can exit the immersive view by clicking the back arrow in the upper left-hand corner.

Twitter Showing more videos in Explore
In addition to the new view, the company will add a new video carousel to the platform’s Explore tab. The carousel will make it easier for users to watch and enjoy the platform’s most popular videos.

Availability
Users of Twitter in English on iOS will be able to use the immersive media viewer in the next few days. The video carousel is currently available to people in select countries who use Twitter in English on iOS and Android.
According to Twitter, the announcement was made
We want to make it easy for everyone to use our service in the way that best fits their needs, and videos (including fun movie teasers) an important part of that.
