WhatsApp ‘Avatar’ feature is now widely available to all users

WhatsApp

After beta testing in July, WhatsApp has announced the release of avatars to its app, providing a new and personalised way to express yourself. According to the company, your avatar is a digital representation of yourself that can be created from countless combinations of different facial characteristics, hairstyles, and clothing.

According to WhatsApp, users can now use their customised avatar as their profile photo or choose from one of 36 customised stickers that represent a variety of emotions and behaviours.

According to the meta-owned company, sending an avatar to friends and family is a quick and enjoyable way to express emotions. It can also be a great way to represent yourself in a more private manner without using your actual photo.

Many people will be creating their first avatar for the first time, and we will continue to deliver style improvements such as lighting, shading, different hair textures, and more, to make avatars even better over time.
