WhatsApp Is To Launch A Paid Subscription For Multi-Device Support

Whatsapp, the most popular instant messaging app, has added a slew of new features, including emoji reactions, communities, file sharing limits, large voice calls, and more.

Whatsapp recently gained multi-device support, allowing users to connect one account to up to four different devices at the same time. You do not need to keep the smartphone connected to the internet at all times while connecting the account. It also works when the smartphone is not present.

The messaging app is currently testing a paid feature for multi-device support. Users will be able to add more devices to a single account.

At the moment, a tablet, computer, and laptop can be paired, but not a second smartphone. Only one smartphone can be paired at a time.

A Meta-owned company is working on a new subscription plan for Whatsapp Business users, according to a report by WABetaInfo. It’s working on a new interface for the Linked Device section.

According to Wabetainfo,

“In this revamped interface, WhatsApp uses a completely different description for multi-devices, claiming that you can add multiple devices to the account so different people in the business can all talk to a customer in the same chat.”

Users will be able to connect up to ten devices with the subscription plan. At the moment, the main Whatsapp allows up to four devices to be linked, so this paid service will be useful for business accounts.

A screenshot has been shared in which Whatsapp states that this function will allow business people to talk to customers in one place. “Add multiple devices to tour account so different people in your business can talk to a customer in the same chat,” says the “Linked Device” section.

The subscription plan may include additional features that are only available to subscribers. More information is on its way.
