 WhatsApp is thinking of replacing Archived Chats with an enhanced version – Read Later!

According to the reports from wabetainfo – WhatsApp is now looking to replace “Archived Chats” with “Read Later” in a future update. In theory, “Read Later” is an enhanced version of “Archived Chats”

This is adopted to minimize interruptions. As mentioned above the chat will remain in your “Read Later” section when new messages arrive from a chat, and you will not receive any alerts. This feature is currently being developed and will be available in the near future.
