Earlier this week, WhatsApp announced the Call Links feature for audio and video calls. WhatsApp Call Links enables you to create a link for a call and share it with an individual or a group. As Meta confirmed earlier this week, the WhatsApp Call Link feature is now rolling out to beta users.
The beta update I got today added the Call Link feature, which you can see in the screenshot below. This new feature is included in the latest beta for Android v. 2.22.21.13, and it will be rolled out to all beta users with this update, as well as people on the stable channel of updates, in a few days. This new part of WhatsApp works like popular apps like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and others.
Rolling out Call Links on WhatsApp
To get started and see if you have received this update, make sure you are on the most recent version by visiting the Google Play Store and updating the WhatsApp app if there are any pending updates. Now, open the app and navigate to the “Calls” tab; you’ll notice a new option at the top titled “Create call link.”

Availability
As of now, this option is only available to Android users running the latest v. 2.22.21.13 beta. As previously stated, the link for both audio and video calls can be shared. The link shared allows up to 32 people to join the call.
