WhatsApp is now testing a sticker creation tool that will eliminate the requirement for third-party stickers. Recently, WhatsApp Chat Lock feature was made available to all users.
WhatsApp is testing a sticker-maker tool
WhatsApp recently released an iOS beta update, version 23.10.0.74, which features a sticker creation tool incorporated into the app. According to WABetaInfo, there will be a ‘New Sticker’ option under the conversation share sheet of a specific chat.

This option will make use of iOS 16’s API, which allows you to copy the subject of an image and paste it somewhere else. A WhatsApp sticker will be created using the same capabilities. This will be combined with certain editing features (such as the ability to remove the backdrop) to produce the ideal sticker. A screenshot of the feature in use has been posted. You can see it below.
Previously, a similar feature was available for WhatsApp’s browser and desktop editions. There are a few sticker packs available for WhatsApp’s app versions, but you can’t make your own.
Availability
It is currently being tested as part of WhatsApp for iOS, but it may soon be available to Android users as well. However, there is no information on when WhatsApp’s sticker creation tool will be made available to users. Because it is still in the testing phase, we can expect an announcement very soon.
